Who We Are – The Nomad Earth Vision
​We don’t sell vacations. We create Regenerative Expeditions.
​We are explorers, walkers, and storytellers. After more than twenty-five years of experiencing the world firsthand, charting routes on foot and off-road in the planet’s most complex and remote territories, we have come to a certainty: tourism, as it is currently understood, is no longer enough.

​For years, we have observed the silent damage that mass tourism and the arrogance of “all-inclusive” travel inflict on the planet: worn trails, emptied communities, traditions sold off, contaminated landscapes. We said: enough.

​Nomad Earth was born as an urgent response, a radical choice, and an act of love. The world doesn’t need new journeys. It needs new explorers.

​The harsh reality of the Expedition
​Traveling with us is not for everyone. We design itineraries for nomadic souls, for those who understand that dust, unexpected events, and route changes are not organizational flaws, but the very essence of travel.

​Our Expedition Leaders and scouts map out each route on the front lines, working unfiltered with local communities. This means that if adverse weather conditions, a security alert, or local dynamics require it, our plans change. We ask our travel companions for total flexibility, a spirit of adaptation, and profound respect for the rules of the host country. Those seeking a fixed itinerary or the comfort of a resort will not find space on our expeditions.

​Our Regenerative Tourism: 125% Impact
​The time for simple sustainability is over. We can no longer simply “do no harm.” We must do better. For every step we take, we must leave a seed, a connection, a sign of rebirth.

​Our model is revolutionary in its simplicity: each expedition creates a 125% positive impact. We don’t just want to leave a place as it was; we want to leave it better than we found it, giving back to nature and communities more than we take.

How do we actually achieve this?

On-the-ground environmental actions: We support local reforestation, the restoration of historic trails, and the direct protection of biodiversity.
​Economy without intermediaries: We collaborate on a peer-to-peer basis with local cooperatives, artisans, and rental companies. Funds remain locally, enhancing the autonomy of indigenous peoples and cultures.
​Active offsetting: We measure the impact of each expedition (CO₂, resource consumption) and offset it entirely, adding an additional 25% of regenerative value.
​Naturally paced experiences: We favor trekking, multi-day hikes, small groups (2-4 people), and technical transport that allow for total, silent, and respectful immersion.
Because Costa Rica is our home
​We chose to establish the headquarters and beating heart of Nomad Earth in Costa Rica. This is no coincidence. It is a country that abolished its army to invest in education and the environment, that protects over 25% of its territory, and that has made sustainability a vital law. Costa Rica represents our ideal base of operations because it embodies what we want to build in the rest of the world: a future where environmental and economic regeneration is not a utopia, but a daily model.
